A couple of pioneering websites have tackled this question in different ways.<\/p>\n<p>The Donovan Index ranks two kinds of cities; Division I cities participate in two or more Major Sports Leagues while Division II cities participate in only one Major Sports League. As a city wins a sports championship, that city earns points that then is compared to other cities creating the index.
